High pressure will maintain fresh to locally strong trades through the week. Trade winds will begin to strengthen statewide by Wednesday afternoon becoming strong to near gale force by Thursday before gradually easing Friday into the weekend. Still some uncertainty in the forecast early next week depending on the track of Lowell and Karina approaching the state from the east.
